The back story
I was raised in the warm sunshine of California using my imagination for elaborate stories or bright colored drawings when I was kid. Holding on to that creative spirit, when it was time to pick a college I knew I had to be in the arts. I got my BFA in Graphic Design in 2008 right as the market was crashing...I was lucky enough to find a job and cut my teeth working for various fashion companies around Los Angeles before moving Portland, Oregon and then onward to Colorado. I've created marketing material, run social media campaigns, written blogs, photographed product, edited high volumes of images, managed teams of designers, burned the candle at both ends so that projects get done. I've produced photo shoots in a matter of days, worked on high end campaigns, and helped small business find their voice. I feel like my creative career can best be summed as a jack of all trades.
For over 10 years I lived, ate, and breathed all things design. After three states, burning the candle at both ends and several fortune 500 companies, I needed a big change. On a whim my husband suggested that I take my yoga certification since I seemed to be the happiest on my mat. So here I am, still designing, coming up with content and producing on a freelance basis but also teaching yoga regularly and passionately.
These days I'm really interested in working with other creative thinkers to collaborate on making beautiful content, coming up with effective strategies or just getting some ideas flowing! I love working with individuals and big companies alike. I also am available for private yoga lessons, group events and retreats, or just as someone to chat all things yoga with.
I'm a little too friendly for my own good, so drop me a line to say hello, tell me about your project, what you'd like to collaborate on or how yoga has totally changed your life too!
